F-one – Trigger

The F-one Trigger 2023 is a brand new kite from F-one designed to conquer the big air segment. Its sole purpose is to help you jump as high as possible, stay in the air for as long as possible, and perform kiteloops with ease. The F-one Trigger features a five-strut profile to compete with kites like the Core XR7 and the North Orbit. F-one’s decision to develop a new five-strut kite in addition to the Bandit is a surprise, but not a strange choice. The Bandit simply cannot compete with the top kites in the big air segment, which is why F-one developed the new Trigger kite. The biggest difference between the Trigger and the F-one Bandit is the super smooth pull the Trigger provides when going up, and the incredibly floaty hangtime when compared to the Bandit. This is due to the more high aspect, five-strut shape of the F-one Trigger. In gusty conditions, the five-strut design also comes into play. The five struts ensure that the Trigger stays super stable in the air, more so than a three-strut kite like the Bandit. This results in the F-one Trigger feeling incredibly reliable in the most extreme conditions, giving you the confidence to go higher than ever before. A big air kite needs to have excellent depower to keep you on the water as long as possible in strong winds. And the F-one Trigger delivers! This, combined with the light bar pressure, makes it easy for you to withstand any storm. Another advantage of the light bar pressure is that you can easily hold the bar tight in strong winds to not miss a single centimeter of height. Despite the light bar pressure, the Trigger surprisingly responds quickly and precisely for a five-strut kite. The Trigger has a special trailing edge with staggered panels, where the cloth is not perpendicular to the direction of the leading edge. We can also see this new style of trailing edge in the F-one Bandit 2023. This new style ensures that the trailing edge stays stable in the air both when steering and directly above you when the Trigger creates lift. In addition, all strut bumpers are integrated to create the smoothest possible surface, resulting in a more stable kite.
