Slingshot – UFO V2

The Slingshot UFO V2 is the very first no-strut kite from Slingshot. This kite is optimized for hydrofoiling. The kite is built with D1 Tejin fabric which is the lightest ripstop fabric on the market. In addition, the kite has no struts which makes it even lighter. Weight is also saved by using a thin bladder material, minimal use of scuff guards, and as few seams as possible. All of this makes the Slingshot UFO V2 ultra-light and therefore super efficient! The UFO is positioned slightly further back in the wind window, making it a little less easy to gain height than a 1/3 strut kite. Therefore, it’s not ideal for racing and speed. If you’re just freeriding and catching waves and want a kite that is there for you whenever you want it, then the UFO is a fantastic kite!
